INSIDERSNY: The Beginning
Our company was founded ten years ago when designer Sigal de-Mayo set out to create a uniquely fashionable line of bags and accessories that were perfectly suited to fulfill the needs of an urban lifestyle. de-Mayo drew her inspiration from the creative energy and spirit of New York City and designed the INSIDERSNY product line to be like the city itself: durable, functional, captivating and chic. In 2003, INSIDERSNY experienced astonishing growth through the business acumen of Fabio Otalora. Otalora’s keen production management enabled us to expand our brand while maintaining the quality of our products. In the ten years since we launched our first collection, INSIDERSNY, we have become a cult classic.

Each INSIDERS1 piece features a digitally customized image, an image captured from the point of view of a local who is intimate with their urban space, an insider. These provocative images are hand-printed on the finest leather to create a fantastic effect that is permanent and designed to age beautifully (just like you). All INSIDERS1 products are made at our Brooklyn Navy Yard factory, right in the heart of New York City.
